5th Grade Computer Education

Fifth grade students begin the trimester refreshing their keyboarding skills by completing typing lessons in the Ultrakey typing program as well as participating in enrichment activities in the Type To Learn program. Students will also be introduced to a variety of features in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT. The trimester will conclude with student exposure to Internet Tools such as Wordle, Prezi and Animoto. giving students a more   dynamic way of integrating NYS standards into the computer technology curriculum.
